This morning my father in law watched the kids for me so I could go to my first parent teacher conference. All went well and I came home to 2 very happy kids and a happy pop-pop. We were sitting on the couch having coffee when my father in law says to my daughter "Be careful with that button sweetie". I thought in my head she is 3 years old she won't eat that button she knows better. Shortly after that, little lady became very clingy and whinny. She kept sticking her finger in her nose which is really unlike her so I said you have something in there (thinking a boogie) and she replied in an utterly distraught cry yes a button. I almost fell off the chair I laid her on the sofa and looked up nose and couldn't see anything. My father in law armed with a flashlight helped me hold her down and still I saw nothing. I was halfway out the door to the ER when my father in law who was clearly thinking more then I was said hey can you blow your nose for me. Sure enough she gave 2 hards blows and when she tilted her head back there was the button sticking out of her nasal passage. I grabbed the tweezer and pulled it right out. Phew! We were going to go to the playground after pop-pop left but I felt like that was enough excitement for everyone for the day!
Todays lesson learned the hard way is: no matter how old the child never put it past them to get in trouble with a tiny object :)

1 in a million
I am one in a million moms who does awesome things with my kids. I have 3 year old fraternal twins who make every day a new adventure. I'm starting this blog for myself mostly. We have great days, we have not so great days but 5 days a week our possibilities are endless.
I'm not the perfect mom and I don't pretend to be. I try my hardest and I live my life with the belief that as long as my kids love and respect me then it really doesn't matter how other people view me.
Starting tomorrow I will start to document each day in life of me, my amazing husband and our 2 twinadoes.
